Why this site exists
Crawl space and basement dehumidifiers are a spec-sheet minefield: three different pint ratings measured under three different test conditions, coverage claims with invisible asterisks, and advice articles written before the 2019 standard change that nobody went back to fix. Meanwhile the SERPs for "what size dehumidifier do I need" are topped by Reddit threads — helpful strangers, zero verification.
We do the unglamorous part: read the spec PDFs, label every number with its test standard, and put the actual sizing math in an interactive tool instead of a wall of prose. Deadpan specs, checked twice.
